The FIBA World Cup is around the corner and Team USA is getting ready for the competition, but first, they have some showcase games to get prepared for it.

Austin Reaves is the only Lakers star present in Team USA and has proved he is one of the most popular players on the roster, as the debut game against Puerto Rico in Las Vegas showed.

Team USA defeated Puerto Rico with a 117-74 score. The next showcase game will be on Aug. 12 vs. Slovenia in Malaga, Spain, and will be broadcasted on FS1. The next contest will be held on Aug. 13 vs. Spain in Malaga, Spain, and broadcasted by Fox.

The two final showcase games will be on Aug. 18 vs. Greece in Abu Dhabi, UAE broadcast by FS1, and Aug. 20 vs. Germany in Abu Dhabi, UAE broadcast by Fox.

Lakers fans will be able to watch Austin Reaves make his debut in the FIBA World Cup on Aug. 26 vs. New Zealand, 8:40 am ET, on ESPN2. The next game will be on Aug. 28 vs. Greece, 8:40 am ET, ESPN2. And the final contest of the first round will be on Aug. 30 vs. Jordan, 4:40 am, ET, on ESPN2.
