Is not a secret that Anthony Davis has the potential to be the best player in the NBA this season but his injuries have prevented him from being in the past seasons and this campaign is looking to be more of the same.
Even when Davis returned against the Phoenix Suns, only six games into the season, the now-called face of the franchise got injured and scared the fans as they believed he was going to start missing another big chunk of a championship.
That's probably what has the legendary hip-hop artist, who is one of the biggest celebrity Lakers fanatics out there Lil Wayne, tired of AD and now believes the organisation has to trade the big man if they want to win a championship title again.
“If the Lakers wanna be a championship team and the future as well, you gotta get rid of A.D.,” Wayne said. “You gotta get rid of A.D. because he A.D. — plain and simple. You don’t wanna criticize that ’cause that’s health — is whatever it is ’cause you don’t wanna say he’s soft. You don’t want — so whatever it is, it’s A.D. So because that’s his makeup and that’s who he is, and he’s shown us that. And the only time I guess we haven’t been seeing — we haven’t been shown that was in New Orleans. And we like to say the bubble championship.”
Despite the Lakers beating the Portland Trail-Blazers, Lil Wayne continues wanting the front office to trade Anthony Davis as he recently said in the latest episode of 'Undisputed': "That man has done absolutely NOTHING for the Lakers."
