Westbrook left the Lakers on the worst terms possible, and now his former teammate Lonnie Walker has revealed how the PG is in the locker room

The Los Angeles Lakers are finally back on track after the latest roster movements made by the GM Rob Pelinka, the one that got the spotlight involves the PG Russell Westbrook, who the media made look responsible for the Lakers' problems.

Since then, Russ has not found a new team, even when talks heavily point toward him staying in Los Angeles but playing for the city rival, the Clippers. Still, the media keeps saying that no one would want him because of how problematic he is, and now a former purple and gold teammate has shared some light on the matter.

Lonnie Walker, one of the Lakers' new elements for the season, was scared to meet the PG when first arriving in Los Angeles after all the media talk on Russ. But he found the exact opposite of the narrative sold by the press.

"He's the best teammate I've ever had." Said Walker about Westbrook in a recent interview with Buckets. Lonnie also added, "I was on the outside looking in, in SA-its weird based on how the media tells you who he is. He's nothing but professional."

Patrick Beverley also was surprised by Westbrook

The other PG, that had a long feud with Westbrook, was surprised by how Russ is inside the locker room, and the two of them were able to bury the hatchet on the previous beef and have a good relationship.
