The Los Angeles Lakers had left 12 minutes on the clock to turn things around for them in Game 4 this Monday night of the series vs. the Warriors with a dominant but erratic 3-pointers, Stephen Curry.
The 4th quarter started, and coach Darvin Ham finally allowed Lonnie Walker, who had been doing good in the first couple of minutes, the Purple and Gold to turn things around by having a 9-0 run.
Walker ended the game scoring 15 points having three rebounds and two assists; LeBron James and Anthony Davis approached him and embraced the SG after his breakthrough performance.
The fans have been asking coach Ham to use Lonnie Walker more instead of Malik Beasley and Troy Brown Jr. Yesterday finally happened, and it all worked out great for LA to get the win and be one game away from closing the series to defeat the still reigning champions the Golden State Warriors.
"He's a beautiful kid. He fell out of the rotation through no fault of his own... But he remained a trooper, remained professional, high-spirited, and positive, and he really kept working on his game... Kudos to him." Said Ham after Lonnie Walker saved his @ss. Ham had some weird decisions; Thanks to Lonnie, ultimately, it all worked.
