What is a recurring joke for Lakers fans is starting to become a nightmare, as every time there is a gravity-injured player, as soon as they are about to face LA, it 'miraculously' recovers and makes their return vs. the purple and gold.
One of the latest examples is Stephen Curry, who was out for a long-time and made his return against the Lakers; also, the Rockets' big man Alperen Sengun was listed as questionable and played on their win vs. LA.
And now, the bad news for the Lakers is that for tomorrow's game against the Dallas Mavericks; their rival could see the return of both their superstars.
Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic were total participants in practice today, said Mavs coach Jason Kidd. Kidd also noted that as for Irving, who had a foot injury and Doncic his thigh, making their returns for Friday's night game: "We'll see what tomorrow brings."
After Davis sat out of the game against the Rockets, having a two-day rest, the superstar is expected to return against the Dallas Mavericks to help the team get the win on their aspirations to make it into the postseason.
