After the LA Lakers lost Game 2 at Golden State, the Lakers showtime era legend Magic Johnson reacted and prompted coach Darvin Ham to make the necessary adjustments to win Game 3 and get back the lead.
And that's exactly what coach Darvin Ham did, the adjustments that fans have been begging him to do for months, benching Troy Brown Jr. and Malik Beasley so Lonnie could have some minutes.
Walker scored 12 points and proved the right choice for Austin Reaves when the sophomore SG was on the bench. Now that the purple and gold won the blowout, Magic has praised coach Ham.
Immediately after the Lakers won, Magic wrote: "Coach Darvin Ham made some great adjustments. He Put Lonnie Walker into the rotation and came up big with 12 points. Overall, the @Lakers played a much smaller lineup most of the game, which helped them on defense!"
In a great night for the Lakers PG D'Angelo Russell, Magic reacted to it: "Let's give D'Angelo Russell a lot of credit for starting us off strong in the first quarter with his hot shooting. He finished with 21 points."
