By James Brown
The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to get a more robust roster this offseason, and for that, they will be cutting the weakest links, and one of them was the SG Malik Beasley, who failed to meet the expectations of helping with his 3-point shooting.
The front office has been reported to want to use Beasley for a trade or even are considering waiving him, and now that the Denver Nuggets SG/Forward Bruce Brown has declined his player option with the champion.
The Lakers are immediately interested in signing Brown, who declined a 7 million offer and could be trying to entice him with a 10+ million per year offer to help them win the championship title.
Bruce was helpful for the Nuggets, as the NBA Finals proved it when Jokic and Murray weren't at their best; role players like Brown stood out and helped get the win; this is something the purple and gold desperately need.
Malik Beasley isn't going to be the only player from the Lakers that could leave the team, as reports suggest the Center Mo Bamba, who failed to have a good impression with the team as he spent most of the time out due to injury, can be traded in the draft night alongside Beasley and the No. 17 pick according to several reports.
