With the Los Angeles Lakers being shorthanded as several players have suffered injuries at the start of the season and some are still out, coach Darvin Ham has gotten used to all his players including the sophomore Max Christie, their two rookies, and the three two-way players.

Max Christie is currently in his second year in the NBA and with the purple and gold, he worked all summer to be on point to battle for a place in the team's rotation, he even bulked up some to be more competitive in the league.

With many players out due to injuries, including Cam Reddish, Christie has finally gotten the opportunity not only to be part of the rotation but even to become a starter in the last four games, which the team has in that last four games a record of 2-2 with Christie.

As a guard, in these four games, Christie has been able to guard some impressive players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Joel Embiid, Donovan Mitchell, and more. Max Christie says it was a "good experience" for him getting to defend the opposing team's best player in every game this road trip.

Jalen Hood-Schifino has finally made his NBA debut

While other rookies in the league are already shining and having a great season, the Lakers 2023 NBA draft pick Jalen Hood-Schifino just played his third game in the league. Out of his 3 performances, he has one good and tow bad, but there's a lot of room to improve and future potential.
