Last season things changed for the Los Angeles Lakers after the trade deadline, thanks to several moves that shook things on the roster made by GM Rob Pelinka.

Russell Westbrook, Kendrick Nunn, Patrick Beverley, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Thomas Bryant, and Damian Jones left the team to be replaced by Mo Bamba, Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Rui Hachimura and D'Angelo Russell.

Mo Bamba was one of the new players who arrived to shake things up, but unlike the rest of the other players, he didn't run with the same luck. For starters, Bamba missed the first two contests after arriving in LA because of a suspension he got from the NBA during his time with the Orlando Magic.

After the two games of suspension, Mo Bamba got injured and missed almost the rest of the season, including a big part of the playoffs, and when he returned, he wasn't on a great level, coach Ham and Pelinka decided to not re-sign him and now the former Lakers center talked about his time in LA and gave a shot to his former team.

Mo Bamba speaks about the Lakers and their repeating the same message last season

Mo Bamba signed with the Philadelphia 76ers this summer and now has opened up about his time in LA and sent a shot to them. “Absolutely,” Bamba told Sixers Wire, indicating that he’s excited to enter a season with a team that has high expectations. “I got a small taste of winning in the playoffs was like in L.A., but coming here and like having a training camp with it. When we were in L.A., all we would talk about was, ‘Yo, if we had a training camp together? This thing would have been awesome.’ But having a training camp with arguably a better team is exciting and fun to kind of indulge in.”
