There's no other team in the NBA that has had as many superstars as the Los Angeles Lakers and a great winning history, having won at least one championship title per decade.
Usually is expected that superstars want to wear the purple and gold jersey and the organization wants to sign the best players in the league, a tradition that started when Dr. Jerry Buss bought the franchise and picked Magic Johnson.
One of the most interesting names that have entered the conversation of the possibility of joining the storied franchise is Giannis Antetokounmpo after he stated wanting to win another NBA title, and in case the Bucks doesn't have a contending team, he won't sign an extension and will look for a new team.
The Lakers and the Knicks are two of the NBA franchises that immediately raised their hands to acquire the services of the Milwaukee superstar. But Giannis recently doubled down his position with a new statement that makes him closer to LA. "I'm a Milwaukee Buck, but most importantly I'm a winner... If there is a better situation for me to win the Larry O'Brien I have to take that better situation." Said Giannis.
The Lakers are one of the most winning championship title franchises in the NBA with 17 trophies, a record that currently has them tied with the Boston Celtics. So if Giannis wants to join a winning Team there's no better option than LA, plus he is close to the purple and gold's current head coach Darvin Ham, after the two of them were part of the Bucks Championship title.
