Kobe Bryant was one of the best Lakers players in history. He was a great player, but as a person he was even better. Now, in honor of the legend, a new mural will be unveiled. The art wall was created by muralist Sergio Odeith and L.A. illustrator Nikkolas Smith.
This new amazing piece of art, measures 125 feet by 32 feet, which, according to the artists, is the largest portrait of Bryant ever created in the city. This won't be the only honour that Lake City will give the late, great, Kobe Bryant.

Beginning at sunset on Wednesday, which's about 7:29 pm, the 90-foot-tall Ferris wheel at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will be lit up with the numbers 8 and 24, as well as with the Lakers’ gold and purple colors in a variety of patterns and transitions.
Kobe Bryant can be arguably called the best Lakers player ever. There are other players, such as Kareem, Magic, Shaq and Wilt, but he's up there with the top players. He definitely belongs to the Lakers Mount Rushmore.
Despite what some people might think, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not the Lakers' top scorer, although he is the all-time leading scorer. Kobe Bryant is the Lakers’ all-time leader in points with 33,643, surpassing Kareem's 24,176.
