The Suns won yesterday's game to tie the series 2-2 vs. the Denver Nuggets, and the two times MVP winner got involved in an incident with the Suns' owner Mat Ishbia.
Jokic was asking for the ball to the crowd when he "seamlessly" shoved the owner of the Suns, Mat Ishbia, and the video of the incident has gone viral and caused a lot of reactions and controversies.
One person that had an honest reaction was the showtime era Lakers legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who wrote on his Twitter: "Jokic, I enjoyed your performance, but I didn't appreciate the elbow to my fellow Spartan and Suns Owner Mat Ishbia lol."
For many, what Jokic did was "justified" because Ishbia didn't want to give the ball to Nikola, who got a technical foul. However, magic has one point of view, and many have been discussing it.
In the post-game presser, Mike Malone, the Denver Nuggets Head Coach, said, "I think it's crazy that Nikola got a technical foul... He's going to get the ball, and some fan is holding onto the ball like he wants to be a part of the game." To what a reporter said, "The fan was the owner of the Suns." Malone simply replied, "I don't give a sh!t."
