The Lakers are still looking to add a center to their roster, and a new name has come out that isn't Christian Wood or Bismack Biyombo

The Los Angeles Lakers GM Rob Pelinka made it clear they are "actively" looking for a big center to add to their 14th roster spot to complete it for the next season.

The two top choices reported have been free agents Christian Wood and Bismack Biyombo, but a new name has been revealed after a couple of weeks have passed and nothing has happened yet.

Udoka Azubuike has been linked with the Lakers, but it seems that the Phoenix Suns will be getting him before the purple and gold GM Rob Pelinka can do a move to sign the center.

The list keeps getting shorter for the Lakers to add a new center, but there must be a plan Pelinka and Ham are working on as not a single movement has been made on that front.

Colin Castleton can become the team's backup center

The Lakers could get use of their two-way contract rookie Colin Castleton to start the season by using him as a backup center, to see more options come true once the campaign starts.
