LA's Japanese wing Rui Hachimura has been putting up some serious work this offseason and now has revealed what he has been improving on

One of the players the Lakers Nations are most interested in following this season is Rui Hachimura after the game he displayed in the last playoffs and didn't stop working all offseason.

Hachimura is set to have a breakout season, as he has been close to assistant coach Phil Handy practicing and also become an understudy for the superstar LeBron James.

According to Spectrum SportsNet reporter Mike Trudell, "Rui Hachimura said his main area of focus with Phil Handy this offseason was his footwork. He’s very comfortable getting to the various spots on the court he prefers, after showing himself to be a three-level scorer for the Lakers."

Hachimura has been practicing his 3-point shooting, but according to the player, his main area has been his footwork which is great news for the purple and gold.

The Lakers head coach could've chosen his last starter for the regular season

Dan Woike from the LA Times wrote about the Lakers starting five final spots: "So much for a competition for the 5th Lakers starter. 'We definitely know who we’re going to start,' but Darvin Ham declines to say who it is. For now."
