Vincent is going to be re-evaluated today but his injury isn't the worst news the Lakers have about the point guard

The biggest signing for the LA Lakers this offseason came with the name of Gabe Vincent, the Point Guard who was key for the Miami Heat to be able to make it into the 2023 NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

Vincent has missed the last two games in the Lakers preseason due to an injury, today he will be re-evaluated to know his status ahead of the start of the 2023-24 season, but according to an anonymous NBA scout, that isn't what LA's coaching staff should be worried about the PG.

“I thought there were several games last year where he was playing in the playoffs and I was like, ‘Get his ass out and get Kyle Lowry in as soon as you can because he is not helping.’” said an Anonymous scout on Gabe Vincent via Chris Mannix from the Sports Illustrated.

Missing the Lakers preseason finale against the Phoenix Suns, Vincent wasn't able to be part of the second unit that looked disastrous without a playmaker like the PG. Vincent will be a key element for coach Ham's ambitions entering the 2023-24 season.

The Lakers could miss losing the PG Dennis Schröder

The fans made fun of coach Darvin Ham and his "love" for PG Dennis Schröder, the reality is that the guard helped the team last season, especially on clutch time, but lost him to the Toronto Raptors that signed him with a two-year and 26 million contract. LA signed PG Gabe Vincent instead.
