Despite all the talk of LeBron James now being 38 years old and handing the keys of the Lakers reign to Anthony Davis, there's a player that has actually taken the leadership of the team: D'Angelo Russell.

Now that Austin Reaves is playing from the bench for the team, the third star has been D'Angelo Russell, even since the preseason, the point guard has been playing that role, and now his teammates have acknowledged him.

Recently Christian Wood revealed that D'Angelo Russell has been on his ear to help him improve and even made a winning dunk against the Clippers.

Now, Cam Reddish has spoken on how D'Angelo Russell has helped him as his locker mate at the practice facility, by staying in his ear and keeping his energy up at all times: "He just continues to push me and believe in me. It goes a long way. I've been through hell and back. It's been great."

The Lakers try to do something different

Similar to an early Rui Hachimura statement of how the Lakers had a completely different mindset than the Wizards, now Cam Reddish has said how the team is unique. Cam Reddish what's different about being with the Lakers? "We trying to actually do something here. It's not like everywhere else... It's very serious... We have a goal here... It's just different."
