The LA Lakers aren't the only team interested in pursuing the NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets wing Bruce Brown Jr.

Some fierce competition is about to start in the NBA when the free agency market begins, as many teams are pursuing some of the same players.

The Lakers are currently involved in that situation as they want to sign the current NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets, the Wing Bruce Brown Jr., despite not being the only team interested in him.

The purple and gold have some heavy competition, as the free agent is expected to meet with the Knicks, Rockets, Pacers, and Mavericks besides the Lakers at the start of free agency, according to sources of SNY.

The Denver Nuggets will also try to retain the Wing in their attempt to build a dynasty and seek to win the NBA champion title back-to-back in the next season.

The Lakers are expected to use their MLE for Brook Lopez or Bruce Brown

It seems that the race for Bruce Brown is not the only option the Lakers have considered using their MLE now that Mo Bamba and Malik Beasley are gone from LA, as the team is also considering bringing back Brook Lopez.
