The Los Angeles Lakers have one of the greatest duos in the recent memory of the NBA and even of all-time, Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

The two superstars won a championship title in their first year together; according to ESPN's analyst Brian Windhorst, James still wants to reunite with a former teammate.

"I will say this. I do think LeBron has an interest in playing with Kyrie Irving again," Windhorst said during an episode of his podcast. "I think he likes the idea of playing with Kyrie, the concept of playing with Kyrie and Anthony Davis. I have long said the best big-man pairing that LeBron's ever had, as far as pure fit, is Anthony Davis. I believe the best guard pairing LeBron's ever had is Kyrie Irving."

The reality is that Kyrie Irving won't be arriving in LA next season, but James could make his dream come true for the 2024-25 campaign; this will paralyze LA for sure, as could have LeBron James playing alongside his two best teammates all his 21 NBA years.

LeBron James injury update ahead of the 2023-24 season

ESPN's analyst Dave McMenamin has given an update on LeBron James' injury ahead of the next campaign: "I'm told LeBron has taken time for his foot to recover. With still more than two months until the Lakers will get together for a mini-camp ahead of training camp, LeBron has already begun his training regimen to get ready for year 21. Seeing the Lakers off-season moves thus far, he's feeling excited to be playing with these new pieces and the retained pieces."
