The NBA world was shocked when different NBA insiders revealed that the Phoenix Suns were thinking of waiving the 38-year-old vet PG Chris Paul.
Then it was reported that the Suns were going to look for a trade; if they were to find no teams interested, then it would be waived, but the Wizards traded Bradley Beal for him.
Still, Chris Paul was set to find a new team and not stay in Washington; the Lakers were a no-brainer option, but they were willing to pay CP3 the vet minimum, and now the Warriors made their move with the PG.
Paul has decided to go to the Golden State Warriors and play alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson instead of pursuing a championship title with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
For this summer, the Lakers aren't looking to add a big name to the roster; after all, they have two of the biggest stars in the league and love to have a deep roster. Also, they are looking to build a future, as the recent NBA Draft 2023 proved of it, where they selected two players and then signed three undrafted players.
