The LA Lakers have made a movement that will help the team contend for next season's NBA championship title

For many NBA analysts, experts, and even sports fans, the Lakers "won" free agency this offseason with the movements that GM Rob Pelinka was able to make.

It's not the first time that Pelinka has pulled off a move like that; it is becoming a welcome move by the Lakers GM, as he did something similar the last season's trade deadline, which helped the team make it into the WCF.

One of their most significant signs of the summer this time was of the PG Gabe Vincent, who signed a three-year worth 33 million deal to play in LA. But not only that, but Pat Riley has revealed that Vincent rejected him with a 24 million offer to stay in Miami after playing in the NBA Finals and losing to the Denver Nuggets.

Vincent spoke about what interested him about the Lakers: "They have size, athleticism, & leadership. I can bring defense & make my open shots while impacting winning with any group on the floor."

Gabe Vincent can become the Lakers PG starter in training camp

According to recent reports, coach Ham's PG starter is D'Angelo Russell, but he is open to changing players if Gabe Vincent can convince him over Russell at the upcoming training camp.
