The now Philadelphia 76ers Point Guard Patrick Beverley, started last season, the 2022-23 campaign as a Los Angeles Lakers player, but things changed after the rough star the team had and he left at the trade deadline.

Pat Bev has spoken about his exit from the LA Lakers, the time he was playing, and a couple of times has thrown a shot towards his former head coach Darvin Ham, even when hasn't straight named him.

This time around, Pat can't let go of what the LA Lakers are doing by sending Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell to the bench, as Beverley believes it all happened after Ham was able to bench Russell Westbrook last year.

"Lakers benched [D’Angelo Russell], and I look back on it. And I think it was very strategic what Darvin Ham did to be able to have the ability to bench a player like Russell Westbrook. Now you can bench anybody," said Patrick Beverley on his podcast.

Patrick Beverley and D'Angelo Russell were teammates

Dlo arrived at the trade deadline and Patrick Beverley thought both guards were going to reunite in LA after being teammates with the Minnesota Timberwolves. One day later, Pat Bev was traded to the Orlando Magic for Mo Bamba.
