On Monday night the Lakers suffered a historic loss so bad that even one of their former players who wasn't good at all last week got the opportunity to do some damage for the team.
Not only did the Lakers have a 44-point historic defeat to become the 5th worst of the franchise and the worst in LeBron James' entire career, but Patrick Beverley got to score 5 3-pointers for them.
Since the moment the Lakers traded Pat Bev, the point guard has had a grudge against the team and has been talking more than actually doing something, this time around he didn't talk but helped Philadelphia beat them.
Austin Reaves opened up saying he has a lot of respect for Pat Bev and that as a competitor, he wasn't surprised to see him look to get him back tonight after doing the "too small" celebration on him last season.
LeBron said “a lot” of changes need to be made to get the Lakers on track. Anthony Davis said it felt like “we just weren’t together.” Austin Reaves said the Sixers “beat the s— out of us.” On the 44-point rout that left LAL shaken to its core.
