The Lakers legend Pau Gasol was not only a great player, but he also became one of Kobe's best friends, and that love continues

The Los Angeles Lakers were represented in the Rising Stars games of the All-Stars weekend by Scotty Pippen Jr., a player from the G-League, and Pau Gasol, the coach of one of the four teams in the competition.

Gasol had a great Friday, firs he got the news of becoming a Hall of Famer nominee finalist, and then on the All-Stars event, his team won the competition of the Rising Stars.

But the most heartfelt moment of the night was when Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's widow, was present to support his late husband's best friend Pau Gasol's stint as a coach in the competition.

After the win, Kobe's daughters Bianka and Capri went to congratulate their uncle Pau; later on her social media, Vanessa shared the picture of Gasol carrying both kids. The love is still there, as Gasol and Kobe were more than just teammates; they became real friends that continue to this day.

Pau Gasol should be part of the Lakers' coaching staff

Gasol has showcased support to the team and the love he has for the franchise, and now that he has shown some passion as a coach, Ham could need the help, as the team has a more robust roster, but coaching still has a lot of rookie mistakes.
