The Lakers have a long history of trading players, and they start playing their best game when they are far from Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Lakers players have made many changes in the past few years; one of the best examples is the former NBA champion with the purple and gold Kyle Kuzma.

GM Rob Pelinka included Kuzma on the package to the Wizards to get the PG Russell Westbrook, and after being disliked by the fandom, Kyle has now increased his gaming and is becoming one of the best stars in Washington; the team now wants to protect him and sign him an extension.

The Lakers wanted him back, but the Wizards are not letting him go. Still, Los Angeles traded with Washington and got the SF Rui Hachimura in exchange for Kendrick Nunn.

And on his first performance with the Wizards, Nunn is already playing better than what he was doing with the Lakers. On his first night, he scored 12 PTS, 56% FG, four assists, four rebounds, and two steals.

GM Rob Pelinka isn't done making trades for the season

In the Rui Hachimura presentation to the media, GM Rob Pelinka talked about looking for some options for a trade before the deadline comes around in the next two weeks. Pelinka said he would only be trading the first-round picks for a significant trade that can make them automatically contenders for the championship title.
