The Los Angeles Lakers recently participated in the Summer League, where one of the standouts, besides the young SG Max Christie, was the undrafted player that signed a two-way deal with LA, Colin Castleton.

And while he is a promising talent that could become the leading Center for the Lakers in the future, he could receive the worst news from Ham; he may not be considered part of the team's rotation.

Coach Ham has bnthony Davis as the primary big Center for the team. The recently signed Jaxson Hayes is also set to be playing alongside Davis, and if that wasn't enough, GM Rob Pelinka is looking to add another center to the roster.

The Lakers Nation wants Pelinka and Ham to upgrade Castleton's deal to a standard contract so he can be the backup Center and fill the 14th roster spot of the team, but coach Darvin is known to give little playing time to the promising rookies.

Colin Castleton isn't worried; he wants to continue his growth as a player

"Learning every day. That's the biggest thing for me; that's my mindset. I haven't really thought about too much into the future; I'm just taking it one day at a time," Castleton said. “I was focused on killing Summer League, and I feel like I did a good job there. Now I can focus on getting ready for training camp and put myself in the right mindset so I can have an opportunity later in the year. That's my mindset.”
