Rob Pelinka let him get the player that rejects returning even when the Lakers need him

The Los Angeles Lakers need a size Center to help them win the championship alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. A former Laker would be the perfect fit, but he won't want to be back.

Still, GM Rob Pelinka should try to bring Brook Lopez back for different reasons; the size center will be hitting free agency this offseason. In addition, Lopez and coach Darvin Ham know and understand each other from their time with the Bucks.

Lopez would significantly help LeBron James and Anthony Davis as he can shoot the ball from 3, protect the rim, post up, and pass. Lopez is a perfect fit for LA.

The big problem is the way he left the team and will probably want to be back. But Ham and Pelinka should try, as Mo Bamba and Wenyen Gabriel failed to deliver, and we can't trust Tristan Thompson as the primary option.

Another Center option that the fans would love to see in LA alongside Anthony Davis is Naz Reid. The Western Conference Finals showed how the team needs more prominent players to compete with teams like the Nuggets.
