The Lakers' Japanese wing Rui Hachimura is set to have a breakout season, he keeps making a great impression, this time to a Nets commentator

For the second preseason game of the LA Lakers, the team faced the Brooklyn Nets in Las Vegas. The contest saw the return of Ben Simmons who is promising to have a comeback campaign, but the Lakers stars were the ones to get the spotlight, especially Rui Hachimura.

Hachimura already got everyone's attention with his great performances earlier in the year in the 2023 playoffs, as he shined against Memphis and all the postseason runs.

After not resting and working out all the summer with assistant coach Phil Handy and becoming LeBron James understudy, expectations are off the charts, but if the game vs. Nets is any indication of it, Hachimura will do great this season, as even a Nets commentator got impacted by the Japanese wing.

“Look at how much bigger he looks than Mikal Bridges. & Bridges is an excellent defender. That was a GOOD pick-up by Rob Pelinka last year getting Rui Hachimura of the Washington Wizards.” The Nets commentators spoke on Hachimura.
