It seems that Russell Westbrook is quickly starting to show that the NBA is no longer the place for him, after a forgettable and completely disastrous stint with the Los Angeles Lakers his fortune seemed to improve with the Clippers, but now it seems is doomed to repeat the same destiny he had with the purple and gold.

Russell Westbrook wasn't a good fit for the Lakers, the season he arrived the team didn't make it to the playoffs, and between his underperformances and the team's injuries, things went down.

Last season Russ started with the team, but coach Ham started to send him to the bench for a new role as the group's sixth man, it improved things a little but eventually all went down and crashed, the front office made a trade with Utah Jazz and the team bounce back making it to the Western Conference Finals.

Utah bought out Westbrook and the point guard signed with the Clippers,  now both are on their second season together and while everything seemed to be working fine for both sides Russ ofter comparing how he is happier with the Clippers than he ever was with the Lakers, the arrival of James Harden to LA has shaken things up.

Russell Westbrook's performances since Harden's arrival & trading rumors

Recent reports had the Clippers signing James Harden looking to replace Russell Westbrook, who passed from earning $46M per year with the Lakers to sign a 2-year $8 million deal with the Clippers. Yesterday Russ played 14 minutes, scored 3 points, 1/8 FGM, 0-2 from 3. Since moving to the bench, Westbrook has been averaging 7.3 PPG, 27.8% FG, 20.0% 3-PTS, and 58.3% FT in an average of 20.9 MPG. Russ is doomed to be traded by the Clippers just like the Lakers did with him.
