The Los Angeles Lakers shocked the NBA world earlier this week by announcing a trade between them and the Washington Wizards.
The purple and gold traded Nunn and signed the Japanese star Rui Hachimura, which was surprising but welcomed by the fans, but apparently, Nunn's teammates didn't know what GM Rob Pelinka had planned or did until it went public.
Dennis Schröder was live-streaming when one of his viewers asked what he thought of the trade for Hachimura. Unfortunately, he had no clue what the viewer was talking about:
"What trade? Rui? Oh no, hell no," a stunned Schröder said. "Rui for Kendrick Nunn? Oh my god, I have to text Rui. I gotta text Kendrick Nunn." Schröder got out of his chair, apparently to get his cellphone. Once he returned, he was still in shock.
However, he understands the nature of the game. "That's crazy, man. The NBA, it's a business, insane," Dennis said. This Wednesday, Nunn got to play with Rui, who had his debut, and fortunately for everyone, the Lakers defeated the Spurs.
