Shannon Sharpe had an epic celebration for the Lakers & LeBron winning the IST

LeBron James at 38 years old has led his team the Los Angeles Lakers to win the first-ever In-Season Tournament, and the ESPN First Take analyst Shannon Sharpe has celebrated it epically and uniquely.

Sharpe is known to have LeBron James as his NBA GOAT, and this Monday when the show First Stake had him speaking about the Lakers superstar and his new championship, the In-Season Tournament, the analyst surprised Stephen A. Smith by using a GOAT mask in honor of LeBron and the Lakers IST championship.

"It's GOAT James in the building baby!" said the analyst who got Stephen A. Smith, a known Michael Jordan guy, to request taking the mask off. Sharpe did but stated who he believes is the basketball GOAT.

LeBron James also got to win the MVP of the In-Season Tournament and is humiliating the rest of the league as he is in his year 21 in the NBA and is close to turning 39 years old.

The difference that was on the line was especially significant to Lakers players on two-way NBA contracts. Those players took home $250,000 for the victory, a 45 percent raise over what they expected to make this season. That’s undoubtedly a substantial bonus.
