The Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal has often felt disrespected by a constant narrative that has him not being a good fit for the Steph Curry era

The NBA has evolved and is in continues to change, it depends on the era, and many believe that Stephen Curry and his 3-point shooting changes the league for good.

Those who enjoy this modern "Stephen Curry" era that is more about shooting than a physical game, believe that there's no longer a place for players like the Lakers icon and one of the most dominant big men, Shaquille O'Neal.

Shaq has had it enough and is done with the narrative that he could not play in Stephen Curry's era and has decided to destroy the narrative with just one video he posted on his IG account.

The video posted by Shaq has him showing off elite dribble moves, step-back jumpers, and a range that he didn't utilize much during his career. Although he is not shooting anywhere near Stephen Curry's range, Shaq has a point that no era could have held him down. The video has the caption “No way @shaq played in the era. yea right #MDE coulda be played in any era.”

The modern NBA star that Shaquille O'Neal is compared with

Many fans believe that Shaquille O'Neal's modern equivalent is Giannis Antetokounmpo, and even the Lakers legend himself once said, that Giannis is the closest player to him in the "Stephen Curry era."
