With the NBA Finals currently going on, and after the Miami Heat's star Jimmy Butler has been doing great so far in the playoffs and subpar against the Nuggets, the NBA media keeps praising him, this time comparing him with LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
In the ESPN show First Take, Jay Williams said he believes that, at the moment, Jimmy Butler is more challenging to guard than LeBron James and Kevin Durant, which immediately made Stephen A. Smith go mad.
Molly Qerim asked, "Is Butler harder to guard than LeBron [James] and [Kevin Durant]?" To which Jay Williams responded, "Yes. This year he is. There's no doubt about it."
Then the shocked and mad Stephen A. Smith said, "Jimmy Butler is great... But harder to guard than KD? Harder to guard than LeBron?" Then Smith got to shut Williams with disrespect towards James.
The Miami Heat is down 3-1 in the NBA Finals series, and only one team has been able to turn around that difference, the LeBron James Cavaliers of 2016. Butler needs to learn from LeBron on how it's done.
