Anthony Davis signed a three-year $186 million extension in the offseason as part of the Los Angeles Lakers front office plan for making him the new face of the team this campaign and years to come.
The main problem for AD hasn't been his injuries lately but his inconsistency, as he hasn't been capable of taking the lead of the team, because he doesn't have it and is just inconsistent, he isn't able to give great performances most of the time.
In the last game against the Dallas Mavericks, Davis had an ok performance to completely disappear in the second half on the offensive end as he failed to score a single point in the last two quarters.
The 'Undisputed' analyst Skip Bayless has gone hard on him having a new nickname for the LA Lakers star "AD always stands for Always Dissapearing. If you're that dude, you got to demand the basketball."
The story of AD's last few seasons repeated in the back-to-back games this week. On Tuesday night, AD had a superb performance helping the team to have a blowout win vs. Utah Jazz, only to have an ok performance scoring 10 points and having 13 rebounds against the Mavs to lose by 3 points in the last minute.
