LeBron James' No. 1 detractor, Skip Bayless, keeps trying to find ways to diminish what the Lakers star has accomplished

Just like it was predicted by the purple and gold fans, once the Los Angeles Lakers won the first ever In-Season Tournament, the NBA media and fans started to underestimate the new competition, despite the initial praise and teams wanting to win it.

Just like what happened with the 2020 NBA championship bubble, now that the purple and gold have won the IST, everyone is trying to say it doesn't count, but it would've been different if Stephen Curry and the Warriors or any other team had won it.

Bayless wrote, "A lot of teams didn't take this nearly as seriously as LeBron and company." The 'Undisputed' analyst says the NBA In-Season Tournament is a microcosm of the bubble.

LeBron and the team still are going after the NBA title, but their competitive nature had them winning it all, the first step was the IST, and is just a statement that they are locked in to be the 2023-24 champions.

Skip Bayless continues to contradict himself when going after LeBron

In his quest to diminish LeBron James' career, Bayless continues to contradict himself. Skip first says LeBron has no killer gene and doesn't want to win, but when LeBron does want to win, he shouldn't. Bayless doesn't make it make sense and has become just a hater. Would've been Michael Jordan, and Bayless would've praised his competitive nature, but being LeBron the one who got the opportunity and did it, it doesn't matter according to the 'Undisputed' analyst.
