After Training Camp day 1, the LA Lakers are getting ready for a new season, Austin Reaves was seen having a different kind of practice

Excitement has been around the LA Lakers after what many have considered a greatly successful offseason, with the team organization bringing last season's core back and making some well-planned signings that addressed their weak points.

One of the standouts after the first day of training camp was the fact that Austin Reaves had a special practice to be easy to the rest, this comes after the FIBA World Cup participation with Team USA from Austin Reaves.

Reaves had played a competition the rest of the team didn't so the coaching staff are easing him back into training camp. “I’m ready to get back to work but there’s some stuff we need to build up to,” Reaves said.

Austin Reaves is officially one of the Lakers starters, so is a no-brainer for the team to take care of the guard, especially with coach Ham planning on Reaves to have a growing role in the team's offense.

LeBron James is set to have a new role with the team

Playing his year 21 in the NBA, and not having to prove anymore his greatness, LeBron James will continue to pursue another championship title, but this time giving the main responsibility to Anthony Davis and other players like D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves, as the team's backcourt is set to have a bigger playmaking role and James to help.
