The Los Angeles Lakers will have their best star, LeBron James back and ready for his year 21 in the NBA. James seems to be excited for another year of basketball.
After a strong offseason, the fans are excited for what's to come, unlike last year when the team entered with a weak roster and more doubts than certainties and had one of the worst beginnings of a season in the purple and gold franchise history.
In the last WCF when the Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets, frustration took the best out of LeBron who hinted at the possibility of retiring from basketball, but later this summer he quickly desestimated, stating he was going to be back and has no date from retiring.
Via Entirely NBA on IG, LeBron James opened up on why he continues to play basketball, and for him is simple, he is still really good at it, and loves the game, so he will continue to play until he ain't good anymore: "I'm still nice as f**k."
The Lakers star LeBron James has it clear, that he won't retire until he isn't good in basketball, with the shape he is currently in, he could easily keep playing for at least another solid 3 years. James has a similar mindset to the soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently said that he would stop playing soccer when his legs tell him to stop, as he believes he is still pretty good at it.
