The Lakers seem to finally have the solution for their 3-point shooting for the 2023-24 season with Taurean Prince and other players

Overall, this Lakers team seems to be able to shoot, and even Anthony Davis is locked in to improve his shooting but is known that every time the organization brings a new sharpshooter, once they put a step in Los Angeles, suddenly forget how to shoot.

It has been a 'curse' that has affected historically different players, one of the latest 'victims' of this curse was last season's sharp SG Malik Beasley who insanely dropped his 3-point % efficacy.

This year, if the preseason is a sample of what's to come in the 2023-24 NBA season, Taurean Prince is about to break that curse, as he has recently said he has a specific goal: "I will shoot 40% from 3 this year."

So far in the preseason, Taurean Prince's 3-point has been in the 47.8% with an 11/23 ratio. While we still don't know who will be the fifth starter for Coach Ham, everything points out for Prince to take that spot, and tonight we'll finally have the answer.

Another sharpshooter in the preseason is a rookie but no Jalen Hood-Schifino

Maxwell Lewis is quietly shooting 41.6% from 3 in the Preseason. Yeah, it’s on a small sample size (5/12) & 2 of his 3s have bounced in (though this says something about his touch). But given the limited opportunities/shots he’s had. Pretty impressive early showing by the Rookie.
