The Los Angeles Lakers franchise saw this Tuesday night a historical moment with LeBron James passing the scoring record previously held by the showtime-era legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Kareem didn't hesitate to use the opportunity in a post-game interview with the TNT show to clear things up and squash the long beef he had with the Lakers big man icon.
Both purple and gold legends had a heartfelt exchange that made fans emotional. Then, Kareem spoke to Shaq and cleared things up, and the big man responded, "You not speaking to me. It was the best thing happening to my career; all I wanted to do was impress you, sir... I will never have beef with the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar."
The two legends ended their feud on live TV thanks to the emotional atmosphere created by LeBron James passing on the record; it became a historical night for everyone around the Crypto.com Arena.
The other Lakers showtime era legend Magic Johnson also congratulated LeBron James. He was opened on how he never thought another player could pass Kareem's record, and that is how special LeBron is.
