The Los Angeles Lakers made a long-awaited significant trade to sign Rui Hachimura and get rid of Kendrick Nunn, and the GM Rob Pelinka said they weren't done for the season.
With the deadline fast approaching, the newest rumor has a vital trade possible to close the roster movements for the franchise this season.
The Toronto Raptors Gary Trent Jr. has already been linked with the Lakers, and now, according to the Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus:
"More realistically, the team will look to relocate Gary Trent Jr., expected to decline his $18.8 million player option for 2023-24 for a long, lucrative contract. The Lakers and Suns might make sense," said Pincus on Trent Jr.'s probable exit from the Raptors.
With information from Sportingnews.com, the report has the Lakers as one of the top landing spots for Gary, and in it, the deal is Patrick Beverly, Juan Toscano-Anderson, and their 2027 first-round pick.
