It's draft day in the NBA, but the LA Lakers still need to make any movements in their top priorities, including re-signing Rui Hachimura.

Hachimura will probably decline the rumored 4-year deal worth a 60 million offer the Lakers will be given to try and see what's in the market for him, and that's precisely what could hurt LA to bring Rui back for at least another season.

The value of Hachimura is set to be at the start of the 15 to 18 million range. Still, other reports have him around 30 million, which will make it hard for the Lakers, who only had locked six players for next season, and the rest are in a similar situation as the Japanese wing.

If the value of Hachimura goes north the 25 million per year, that will reduce the Lakers' cap space as Austin Reaves is set to command a similar contract. Rui could be leaving LA as he said he wants to be in a team where he feels happy, and that could mean whoever pays the best for him.

Chris Paul could sign with the Lakers for the vet minimum

The Lakers said they wouldn't go for a big name this summer but could get one in the shape of the PG vet Chris Paul. LA is only willing to pay him the vet minimum to sign him.
