The Los Angeles Lakers had some struggles at the start of the season between injuries and some stepbacks due to the team's depth being affected by many absences, but now that coach Ham's team is starting to be back a good dilemma to have is starting to brew.

After the first four games in the season, the point guard Gabe Vincent got injured and hasn't been able to recover to make a return in the season, but his comeback is getting close and coach Ham will be finding a conundrum once he's back.

Darvin will find himself in a dilemma when Gabe Vincent returns, Max has earned the right to be in the rotation and should be but, the point guard's eventual return could stir things up.

The Lakers just gave Gabe $33 million for 3 years. LA will not be benching a player they’re paying $11 million per year. So either he gets moved or Max Christie will be returning to stop playing. A solution could be the two splitting playing minutes and Taurean Prince getting a reduced role as Jarred Vanderbilt is also back.

What Gabe Vincent brings to the Lakers once he's back

Despite many fans believing that Gabe Vincent doesn't matter to the Lakers, his defensive game will be helpful for the team. In the first four games of the season when he was available, the point guard led the Lakers in deflections. Vincent could add that extra scrappiness to the group and could be huge, but Coach Ham should limit his playing minutes with the right rotation.
