LeBron James has been around the league for 21 years, he started his NBA career after being the first pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers beginning his story that has now become legendary as he is often considered to be the sport's GOAT.
James had two stints with the Cavs, in the second one he was able to finally win an NBA title alongside Kyrie Irving to then made the jump in 2018 to Los Angeles and has been wearing the purple and gold since then.
Tonight the Lakers will be facing the Cavaliers at Cleveland so LeBron James is returning his first NBA home and because of that the franchise is showing his appreciation with a welcome that fits James legend.
The Cavs put up a "Welcome Back LeBron!" sign outside the Lakers locker room to welcome the King back to Cleveland." James will be looking to beat his former team to increase LA's winning record.
The Lakers were close to making an epic comeback on Wednesday night against the Dallas Mavericks, but a 3-pointer by LeBron's former Cavs teammate Kyrie Irving ended the hopes for the team. Once the game ended, the two stars embraced each other and gave the Cavs fans a heartwarming moment for the nostalgia of their championship year.
