The rumors keep going on a possible trade between the Lakers and Chicago Bulls

The news broke that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to have a trade with the Chicago Bulls with the target of DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and/or Alex Caruso.

NBA insider Jovan Buha has the Lakers front office having a real interest in making a trade for Zach LaVine with D'Angelo Russell as the main trading asset for LA.

The reality is that making a trade that will probably include more names and assets by the Lakers like first picks could backfire, as the recent stat performances by both shows Zach isn't a significant upgrade from D'Lo.

D’Lo has a career of 17.7 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 5.7 APG while Zach is 20.5 PPG, 4 RPG, and 3.9 APG. Many potential trade proposals have D'Angelo Russell being traded for Zach LaVine, but the stat shows that isn't a big upgrade.

Zach LaVine hints at a possible arrival to LA on his last game

While it could be just a coincidence, NBA fans noticed the hat that Zach LaVine was wearing after his last game played which was an LA hat, making many believe that the trade could be closer than expected. At least, LaVine has recently shown a true interest in playing with the Lakers alongside LeBron and AD.
