The Los Angeles Lakers are close to blowing the 20+ points lead they have against the Atlanta Hawks earlier in the game, thanks to the fantastic performance of their guard and the terrible performance by Patrick Beverley.
It is unbelievable that coach Darvin Ham continues to use Bev as a starter and not only that but to give him significant play time, as he keeps being a problem for the team every time he is on the court.
I am opposed to the Hawks guard and superstar Trae Young, who should be considered for the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka to sign with the purple and gold. A Young and LeBron team-up could be unstoppable in the league.
The only problem with signing Trae Young would be that the team will still have a small backcourt. Los Angeles already has Pat Bev and Dennis Schröder.
Unbelievable but true, the Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn has been on the list of players to be released, even when coach Darvin Ham has given significant minutes and different opportunities. Against the Hawks, Nunn could be most of the game the highest-scoring player for LA.
