The late Lakers legend was not only a great basketball player but a great teammate that elevated the performance of his partners

The late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was one of the greatest basketball players of all time and a great teammate who improved his teammates with his mindset and game.

That is the case of the former Spanish player, now Lakers legend and future Hall of Famer Pau Gasol. Gasol had a 6-20 playoff record without Kobe while a 55-34 playoff record with Bryant.

Gasol was swept six times, five times without Kobe Bryant, and had an average of 16.9 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 3.4 APG with a -68 box plus/minus without Kobe.

But with Bryant, Pau averaged 16.9 PPG, 10 RPG, and 3.4 APG with a +290 box plus/minus with Kobe. Bryant made Pau Gasol a Hall of Famer. Without Kobe, Gasol's career wasn't great at all.

Kobe Bryant's secret talent that you probably didn't know about

Kobe is known to be the greatest Laker of all time and usually a top 3 NBA great because of his mental toughness, athletic dominance, and charisma, but he also learned to play the piano.
