Just when the Los Angeles Lakers seem to be right in the game against the Houston Rockets they start trailing again, this time at half-time the team is 55-49, trailing by six points after making it a one-point game on several occasions.
Some of coach Darvin Ham's decisions have been affecting the team, like giving too many minutes on the court to Taurean Prince who has been shooting terribly in the past few games, as he is 0-2 from 3, and is the only starter in tonight's game vs. the Rockets to be scoreless with 12 minutes of playtime, while Reaves has less time on the court with 8 scored points.
Bad decision-making for coach Ham is affecting the team, just like him waiting too long every time he needs to call a timeout before things get ugly for his team, just like other head coaches do it in the league.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been the players that have the team in the fight, and for the second half, the rest of the team needs to help them more, starting with coach Darvin Ham.
At least for this season, the Lakers should've learned that the Houston Rockets aren't as winnable games as they used to do, especially after the strong offseason they had with Ime Udoka as the head coach and signings like Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.
