The Los Angeles Lakers have a two-game losing streak that are looking to break to start 2024 with the right step and get back on the winning side of their record for the 2023-24 season after falling back to .500 in recent games.
Lakers' injury report for tonight's game against the Miami Heat isn't the most optimistic, but the good news is that their rival won't have available its best player, Jimmy Butler, meanwhile, coach Darvin Ham will have to find a way to play good basketball with his available players.
D'Angelo Russell remains doubtful with a bruised tailbone from that spill in Minnesota. And Rui Hachimura is out with a strained left calf. Gabe Vincent continues to be out while recovering from his knee injury. LeBron James is questionable while Anthony Davis and Cam Reddish are probable.
Cam Reddish will be back to the starting five but fans really want Austin Reaves back, as the guard-less lineups haven't been the best for the team the group feels lost and coach Darvin Ham has agreed to stick to it calling himself stubborn.
That being said, the Lakers are one of four frontrunners for Zach LaVine, one of three for Trae Young, and one of two for Dejounte Murray. In addition, they have been linked to a huge three-team blockbuster trade. Those moves take priority.
