The Los Angeles Lakers need every win they can get to advance to the playoffs if they want to avoid the play-in, as Anthony Davis stated after the win vs. the Pacers.
This Saturday, Anthony Davis and LeBron James will be playing, and the possibility of seeing Austin Reaves again on the court is alive, even when he probably sees restraining minutes of playing time.
But the Lakers won't have the player that helped coach Ham and his team to tie in the last minute with a 3-pointer to beat the buzzer the previous time they faced Zion and New Orleans.
Matt Ryan was released about two months ago, and with that movement, the Lakers lost a 3-point shooter that helped the team before, especially the Pelicans. The good news is now they have Rui Hachimura.
The Lakers superstar LeBron James will depend on his performance and his total score vs. the Pelicans to know for sure if he will be able to break Kareem's record against Oklahoma or the Milwaukee Bucks later the next week.
