There are some new faces inside the Lakers roster, but there are four former purple and gold players that LA will miss on the court

Most of the Lakers Nation and the NBA media graded LA's offseason as being one of the most successful by any team in the league after the organization brought back the core of last season's group and had some serious upgrades by addressing the team witnesses, there are four players the team will miss.

One of last season's standouts in the shooting department, something the Lakers have seriously been suffering from, was Lonnie Walker, who started the campaign as the starting shooting guard, only to lose that role after the trade deadline to Malik Beasley, to then become the third option, to finally received an opportunity in the playoffs series vs. the Golden State Warriors when he saved Game 4, helping the team to win. Walker will be missed for his skills and talent.

For coach Darvin Ham, and even Jeanie Buss, one of the players who left the team that was part of the core the team wanted to retain is the PG Dennis Schröder, who left LA to sign a two-year 26 million deal with the Toronto Raptors. Schröder was one of the best clutch players last season, but now that he is gone, the front office wasn't disappointed and signed Gabe Vincent to replace him.

The other two players who had a good role with the team were the centers, Wenyen Gabriel and Thomas Bryant. Bryant requested his trade before the deadline but was an important player for the start of the turnaround in the previous season.

The players set to forget the four players that left the team

Instead of Lonnie Walker, the Lakers signed the shooter Taurean Prince and also will be allowed to sophomore Max Christie. With Schroder gone, Gabe Vincent is the new backup PG for Dlo and without the centers Gabriel and Bryant, Pelinka signed Christian Wood and Jaxson Hayes, all of them are set to do a good job for the fans to forget the players that left the team.
