The Los Angeles Lakers made it into the WCF last season after a horrible start in the campaign with a 2-10 record. But the team was able to turn things around, and a former purple and gold PG was vital for it.
Dennis Schröder missed a big part of the beginning of the last season due to some passport problems first and then because of a hand injury; once he returned, he helped the team to start course correcting, then with the trade deadline moves, the squad made it into the WCF.
Despite Dennis being a key player in coach Ham's lineups and success in the last season, the Lakers didn't attempt to re-sign, and he is now with the Toronto Raptors team with a 2-year 26 million deal.
Still, Schröder keeps showing love and support to his teammates and had just made a bold prediction about the Laker's young guard Max Christie as he posted a picture of the SG with the caption: "Not going to lie... this guy here is going to be a problem & going to have a long a$$ career in this league! Best Rook ever PRIME."
The rookie Max Christie will begin his year 2 in the NBA the next season, and while he had some playing minutes in his first, which helped him significantly grow, he is ready to be a regular in coach Ham's rotation. Max has shown he is prepared to be a constant with the Lakers in three games this summer.
